The Kansas women's basketball team made another key addition to its new 2024-25 roster on Monday night, acquiring a prolific scorer from the Big West Conference.
Jordan Webster, a 5-foot-10 guard who played four seasons at the University of California, Riverside, has announced that he will join the Jayhawks next year.
Webster started 64 games for the Highlanders over the past two years. In the 2023-24 season, she averaged 17.1 points, becoming the Big West's leading scorer, and added 5.4 rebounds per game, helping the team finish unexpectedly well by finishing 10th out of 11 teams in the Women's National Invitational Tournament. She also recorded 80 stolen bases during the season (2.5 steals per game), which was more than the previous two years of her career combined.
Although her schedule doesn't have many games against strong opponents, she did score 18 points against UCLA and 20 points against USC last season.
