Independent creative agency Special has acquired the Cricket Australia business for the upcoming Men’s and Women’s International Series.
The agency won the business through a competitive pitch process.
The special is tasked with creating a unifying idea for the international series that not only builds excitement but also reinforces its role as a must-attend event of the summer.

Australian cricket has a long and rich history and is a summer tradition with the second most passionate fan base in Australia.
The men's series begins with Pakistan at the crease against Australia with three One-Day Internationals and three T20Is. Following the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against India, the NRMA Insurance West Test will be held from November 22 to 26 at the Perth Stadium. This will be followed by a day/night test (6th to 10th December) at Adelaide Oval. Brisbane Test at The Gabba (December 14-18). The Boxing Day Test at the MCG (December 26-30) and the Pink Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (January 3-7, 2025).
The women's series begins with the CommBank T20I series against New Zealand and the One-Day International series against India. After that, attention will turn to The Ashes' match against England. The multi-format series includes three one-day internationals, three T20s and a day-night Test at Melbourne's MCG from January 30 to February 2.
Special’s formal appointment by Cricket Australia commenced on 1 May 2024.
