The Next Gen program is focused on identifying, selecting and training a roster of high-performance athletes who have the potential to join Team Canada's senior women's national team in the future. “I'm so excited to be a part of the Next Generation program this summer, play volleyball with some of the best female players in the country, and see how much I can grow as an athlete! Boyd finished the season with a .270 batting average, 217 kills and 71 blocks, and finished seventh in Canada West with 36 aces.
