INDIANAPOLIS โ The NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Committee today announced the 13 participating teams for the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Championship.
Nine conferences were automatically eligible. The remaining four teams were selected at-large by a committee.
The championship playoff format includes five first-round games on March 9th and four quarterfinal games on March 16th on participating institutions' campuses. All championship matches are single-elimination. The four quarterfinal winners will advance to Hartford, Connecticut for the semifinals and championship game. The games will be played at the Keppel Community Sports Center from March 21-23.

In 2023, Hobart won its first title with a 3-2 OT win over Adrian at Raymond J. Burke Arena in Beverly, Massachusetts.
