isabel berger verbally committed to swimming and studying at Florida State University. Berger is currently a senior at Germantown High School in Germantown, Wis., and will arrive in Tallahassee ahead of the 2024-2025 season.

Barger trains and competes year-round with Rocket Aquatics. Her main focus is the backstroke, and she has competed in the winter US Open qualifiers in both the short course and long course versions of the 100 backstroke. She is also a Futures qualifier in the 100 fly, 200 back and 100 free.
Berger finished his short course season at this year's NCSA Spring Championships. She placed 9th in the 50m backstroke (29.59 seconds), a personal best, and placed 13th in the 100m backstroke with a personal best time of 1:04.15. She also dropped more than half a second in the 200 back heats (2:00.40, SCY) and ran a long course best time of 2:22.95 in the finals.
Berger was busy at the beginning of the season with the Wisconsin High School Championships and winter juniors. At her high school state meet, she placed runner-up in the 100-meter back with a score of 53.76, beating her personal best by more than a second. Just a few weeks later, at the Winter Juniors, her best event was the 100 back, where she placed 14th overall with a score of 54.79.

Under the guidance of the head coach neil studd, the Florida State women's team finished 7th out of 11 teams at the 2024 ACC Championship. It took a score of 54.02 to advance to the C final of this year's 100 backstroke, putting Berger in a strong position to make an immediate impact for the Seminoles at the conference level.
Berger's current best time would have made her the runner-up and third-fastest on the team last season. sarah evans and jenny halden. Evans ran the team's season-best time of 52.96 in the NCAA leadoff leg, while Halden ran a 53.52 at the Georgia Fall Invitational. Haldane will graduate this spring, but Berger will have the opportunity to train with Evans for two years.
