Six Sumner County soccer teams are participating in the regional tournament, and three were crowned district champions after winning in the title round Friday night.
Hendersonville, Mellor-Hyde and Station Camp all held on to their top spot in the league, shutting out teams and earning more hardware to host the first round of regionals on Tuesday.

District 6-A: White House Heritage 4, Liberty Creek 2 (OT)
After last year's undefeated season was derailed by a district upset, Whitehouse Heritage returned the favor by defeating No. 1-ranked Liberty Creek to win the District 6-A championship.
The Patriots (7-11) trailed 1-0 at halftime, but scored two points in overtime to secure the victory.
For Heritage, Seth Martinez, Jack Dempsey, Juan Lorenzo and Justin Kozlyk had a good balance of scoring, offsetting two second-half goals from All-District striker Chase Manfred.
With this win, the Pats achieved their third district championship in four years. Due to last season's strong performance, there is a possibility of winning all the games for the first time in four years. They went 14-0-4 in the regular season before losing in the 9-AA championship and subsequent regional semifinals.
Heritage hosts Jackson County in the next round with another regional championship game and a sectional spot on the line. The Wolves (13-4) look to bounce back from their first district loss heading into a matchup with Smith County.
District 7-A: Mellor Hyde 2, KIPP Nashville 0
First-year coach Seth Good's team finished the district season with a 7-1 record and defended the championship against KIPP Nashville.
Mellor Hyde posted a 3-2-2 record, including Friday's title game, with seven wins and six shutouts.
Since a 3-3 tie with Portland, the Hawks (10-3-2) have outscored their opponents 44-5. They dominated their district opponents throughout the regular season and playoffs, allowing just three goals to KIPP and Republic.
Independence Academy and STEM Prep will see both teams advance to the regional round. On Friday, the Lions defeated STEM 3-0 to win the 8A title.
District 9-AA: Station Camp 4, Portland 0
Angel Fuentes scored two goals and Ryan Hendon had another goal and an assist as Station Camp won its second straight district championship. Last year they won the championship at 9-AAA, but now they are eliminated at 9-AA.
Will Hackford hit another shot in the shutout win.
The Bison (13-5-2) completed an undefeated district schedule, defeating league teams by a total of 43 goals.
Station Camp led the way with a 9-0 shutout of Macon County in Friday's district semifinal. Portland had a 6-5 victory over Greenbrier in the semifinals, but suffered its second loss to Station Camp in the championship.
The Panthers (13-4-1) are in the midst of their best season since 2010, when they won eight games, and will also advance to regionals.
They travel to MLK Magnet to start the next round, where the Class AAA runner-up Bison host Valor College Prep on Tuesday. The Wildcats were AA runners-up in 2022 and won the state title last season.
District 12-AAA: Hendersonville 2, Beech 0
Hendersonville shut out rival Beach in next week's Region 6-AAA tournament to earn at least one home game and earn its second district championship in three seasons.
Ryan Bertotti led the Commandos in the first half and Regan O'Brian followed after halftime for his eighth two-goal shutout of the season.
The Commandos (12-2-3) have won four games since going 0-1-2 against the top team in late April.
In the championship, they followed a similar procedure to their 3-0 win over the Buccaneers in the regular season. Hendersonville held Nick Krall to his second vacancy with 28 points in the title game.
No. 2 seed Beach (11-5-2) advanced to the regional tournament for the first time since 2019. The Bucs were scheduled to play at Antioch on Tuesday, with Hendersonville hosting Overton the same night.
