Rochester, Michigan – Oakland University Athletics has announced the appointment of Devin Zvosek as the new head coach of women's soccer, effective May 16th.
Zvosek spent the 2023 season as an assistant coach at the University of Miami and has nearly 10 years of coaching experience.
“We are thrilled to have Devin lead the women's soccer program and welcome him to the Golden Grizzlies Athletics family,” said Oakland Director of Athletics Steve Waterfield. “Devin has played an integral role in coaching and recruiting for multiple Division I soccer programs, achieving competitive success, contributing to the athletic and personal growth of student-athletes, and building connections with the community. I look forward to watching him lead the OU women's soccer program for future success. ”
Prior to his time at Miami, he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at James Madison University for three seasons (2021-2023), where he led the Dukes to a 30-18-14 record, including a 12-4-5 record. contributed to. In 2022, they will play in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Finals. Zvosek also served in the same role with the men's soccer program at the University of North Florida for four seasons (2017-2021) and Georgia Southwestern State University (2015-16). Additionally, Zvosek served as an assistant coach at Rogers State University (2015) and Arkansas State University (2016).
