With the World Cup approaching, this match will provide a glimpse of which of the two players will have the upper hand heading into a major tournament.
As far as team news is concerned, DC will be getting back the services of Ishant Sharma who has been declared fit. However, teammate David Warner said, “I'm not fully fit yet.'' Head coach Ricky Ponting shared this information in his pre-match press conference.
“Both of them trained yesterday (Sunday). In fact, Ishant trained three out of the last five days. We are happy with his results. As of now, he is fit for selection. '' said Mr Ponting. “Warner had a few days off. He was also batting at the net for about 20 minutes. He's about to hit his final pace and still needs to get fit.
