With just a few weeks left in the season, only two undefeated teams remain in the state.
Cranston West, looking to regain the title, has owned Division 2 all year. And Central Falls has been perfect this year, winning three straight in five sets.
Now that we're in May, will someone be able to dethrone these teams?
North Kingstown led DI last week, ahead of Cranston East. A favorite lurks in the state's top division as Skippers seeks his third title in four years.
Now that we've finished resetting the rankings, let's move on to the rankings…
Who decided? And who fell out of this new ranking?

Providence Journal Men's Volleyball Power Rankings
Division I
1. North Kingstown (10-1)
North Kingstown solidified its status as a top contender for the state's top division with a 3-1 victory over the popular Cranston East team. The Skippers host North Smithfield and La Salle in the coming weeks, with North Kingstown poised for a playoff berth.

2. Cranston East (8-3)
It's no surprise that Cranston East rises to No. 2. They enter North Kingstown on an eight-game winning streak, with wins over La Salle and North Smithfield along the way. I also challenged the Thunderbolts to keep winning and they kept winning. So I remained faithful to the end.
3. La Salle (10-2)
The Rams bounced back after Cranston East's blowout loss to East Greenwich on Wednesday. Ali Abdul Razak contributed to the victory with 26 assists, four aces, and eight digs. La Salle has South Kingstown and a big matchup against North Smithfield coming up.
4. North Smithfield (8-2)
One spot behind the Rams is North Smithfield. This quartet of clubs have been, and continue to be, the first four teams in some order for most of the season.I feel like the Northmen are comfortable sitting in third place, but I'll let the team decide when La Salle hosts North Smithfield on the 13th.th.
5. Classic (6-5)
And the classics once again round out the top five. The Purple defeated every program it played except for the top-ranked program. Can they pull off an upset in the playoffs?
Division II
1. Cranston West (9-0)
Cranston West's sweep of Barrington was impressive. I don't know what else this Falcons team can do in the regular season that shocks me. They're going to have to get it done in the playoffs.
2. Barrington (8-2)
The Eagles finished in second place and are still at the top of the league. There is no penalty from me if you lose, it happens to everyone. East Providence and Lincoln are on the deck of Barrington.
3. East Providence (8-3)
East Providence defeated West Warwick, Westerly and Woonsocket three times. Towns hasn't lost since mid-April and will pick up back-to-back wins against Barrington and Cranston West over the next few days.
4. Lincoln (7-3)
Lincoln finished the season 3-0 last week and will face tougher competition. Will the defending champion be able to show off the same momentum as last year?
5. West Wind (4-5)
The Bulldogs haven't been at their best lately after straight-up losses to East Providence and Lincoln. They head to Cranston West next week for a chance to end the Falcons' perfect season.
Division III
1. Central Falls (10-0)
The Warriors remained unbeaten until Juanita Sanchez took Central Falls to five sets, losing 15-7. This is only the third time CF has reached the fifth set, but there's something to be said for a team that can consistently win when the stakes are on the line.
2. Pawtucket (8-1)
It was a slightly lighter schedule for Pawtucket, with wins against Middlebridge and Mount Pleasant, but during those wins Cope outscored Mount Hope in straight sets. This is Pawtucket's seventh straight win, losing only one set during that span.
3. Juanita Sanchez (8-2)
Juanita is limited to three spots due to the loss to Central Falls. The Warriors will play a nonleague game against East Providence on the 15th.th It should serve as a great tuner before the playoffs.
4. Scituate/Prout (9-2)
After a five-game winning streak and a 3-2 win over Portsmouth, the state's strangest co-op program is back in the rankings.Scituate/Prout will be guaranteed a playoff berth if they win against Tolman/Shea on the 14th.th.
5. Portsmouth (6-3)
The Patriots have fallen in the standings with consecutive losses. But on the bright side, Portsmouth will have an easier schedule next week before the trip to Tolman/Shea.
