Hudson Grier has moved up 26 spots from this time last year to No. 28 overall in the 247Sports 2025 Composite. Although he's still just short of five-star status, the Lake Travis High School (Texas) senior has recently seemed to have piqued the interest of Duke basketball recruiters.

“The other team that has started reaching out to me is Duke,” Grier noted to League Ready this weekend after listing Alabama, Creighton, Arizona, Texas and UCLA as the schools he hears from the most.
Perhaps interest from the Blue Devils will eventually coincide with Duke's apparent interest in the polished 6-foot-7, 190-pound wing. He admitted to League Lady that he grew up a fan of the blueblood program in Durham during the latter years of Mike Krzyzewski's legendary reign.
However, Greer added that he is impressed with what Coach K's successor, John Scheyer, has accomplished in his two years at the helm.
