The Sabers are led by the dynamic duo of Julius Momoe-Mitchell and setter Jake Rosales.
Both players have put up big numbers, with Rosales having 448 assists and Momoe-Mitchell having 217 kills.
“I think I rely on Julius just like I rely on the passer,” Rosales said. “Without these passers, I don't get good sets and Julius doesn't get as good kills as he does. At the beginning of this season, I didn't have that trust yet, so it's definitely a mental I know it was a game. We all put in the work.
“We’ve all been on the ride together, and as the season has gone on we’ve come to trust each other even more.”
Third-year student Momoe Mitchell said: It was nice to be disconnected like we were during the season. We're pretty well connected now. We all know what we want and what we want to do. We have a lot of seniors this year, so do your best especially for them. We want to keep winning until the end so that they can have a good season. ”
