Oldham County senior Toula Forbush outscored her rivals in the final 200 meters of Friday's race and is a two-time Kentucky Dream Mile winner.
“This was my last (Kentucky Dream Mile),” Forbush said. “So I wanted to make it my best. I was nervous at first. I've been racing these girls my whole life. They're the best in the state. When I came out here, I thought, 'I've got my family, I've got my friends, I just run and time my kicks.'
Forbush's time was 4:49.35. In 2022, she won her first race at the Kentucky Dream Mile (4:49:80), breaking her state mile record.
She also holds school records for the 800 meters, 1,600 meters, mile and 2k hurdles. Faubush has signed on to run on Tennessee track and field starting in the fall.

Louisville graduate Mycasa Robinson recently joined the Marshall women's basketball coaching staff after working as the team's U of L graduate assistant and athletic and academic coach under Jeff Walz. Robinson served as a skills development coach last season, focusing on defense. Her role with the Thundering Herd is undetermined, although Robinson will be an assistant under coach Juli Foulkes.

Kyra Elsey, the British national team coach, was sacked in March.
Last season, White, a 6-foot-5 center, led the Bearets to the Sweet 16 semifinals, where they lost to eventual runner-up McCracken County. She averaged 11.7 points and a team-high 7.9 rebounds per game.
