The 9th ICC Men's T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in 2024. The tournament will be held from June 1st to June 29th at nine different venues in the West Indies and the United States. This is the first time the United States will participate. Organizer of major ICC world tournaments.

This year's T20 World Cup will be the largest tournament ever with a total of 20 teams participating. The top eight teams from the previous tournament, excluding the hosts West Indies and the United States. Australia, England, India, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the next two teams in the T20I rankings (Afghanistan and Bangladesh) automatically qualified.
The teams that qualified in their respective regions are Ireland and Scotland (Europe), Papua New Guinea (East Asia Pacific), Canada (America), Nepal and Oman (Asia), and Namibia and Uganda (Africa).

Who won the last T20 Cricket World Cup?
The first T20 World Cup was held in South Africa in 2007. In the first edition of the tournament, India defeated their arch-rival Pakistan in a thrilling showdown, winning MS Dhoni's first trophy as the national team manager.
The most recent edition of this tournament was held two years ago in 2022. In the 8th edition, held in Australia, England became her second winner, becoming her second team after West Indies to win multiple T20 World Cups.
They qualified from the Super 12 stage and qualified for the semi-finals alongside New Zealand from Group 1, pulling away from the hosts in the process. They defeated India by 10 wickets in the second semi-final and Pakistan by 5 wickets in the summit clash.
