Dubai: Umpires Nitin Menon and J. Madanagopal, along with International Cricket Council I (CC) match umpire Javagal Srinath, will represent India in the T20 World Cup to be held next month.
The ICC on Friday announced the list of 26 match officials who will be in charge of the first round of the month-long tournament to be held in the United States of America (USA) and West Indies starting June 1.
There are 20 umpires covering 55 matches across nine venues, including well-known ICC umpires such as Richard Illingworth, Kumar Dharmasena, Chris Gaffani and Paul Reiffel.
Besides Madanagopal, Sam Nogaiski, Alahudian Paleker, Rashid Riaz and Asif Yaqoub will also make their debut in the ICC senior men's competition.
In addition to Srinath, the match will be officiated by David Boone, Geoff Crowe, Ranjan Madugal, Andrew Pycroft and Richie Richardson.
