And later this fall, Jackson State head football coach TK Taylor will be seen taking a more active role on the live Talking Sports sidelines with Rob Jay and Jamie Horton. Dew. JSU head coach TK Taylor said he will be calling plays on offense this season. Coach Taylor is used to calling plays. He has done a lot in his coaching career when he served as offensive coordinator during the offseason, but with last year's offensive coordinator Maurice Harris leaving to join Auburn's staff, T.K. has stepped up to lend his expertise to JSU's offense. >> We're going to be really good defensively and I feel like if we can give them 28 or 30 points a game, we'll be fine. As a football team. I always tell my players that if they average 30 or 31 points per game on offense, they can play. You have a chance to play in the championship. oh. You know? Yeah. But you know I'm a playful person at heart. You know that's what I've always done. You know, I went to that Celebration Bowl three times as an offensive coordinator. That's right. You know I love it, right?And Wisconsin linebacker Chris Orla was hired as JSU's new recruit.

Jackson State head football coach TC Taylor will return to his roots this fall. He will be calling plays for the JSU offense. Coach Taylor broke the news on Talking Sports Live on Wednesday night. He has been able to lead a high-scoring offense when called upon in spot duty at JSU over the past few years. The Tigers' goal was for him to score 30 points per game, and he accomplished that as offensive coordinator. Coach Taylor has also added former Carolina Panthers linebacker Chris Orr to his coaching staff. The Wisconsin product will be the new linebackers coach.
