The NFL Draft was completed over the weekend, with seven players who played high school football in Illinois getting their names called in one of seven rounds in Detroit, according to MaxPreps.
Florida (30), Texas (24), Georgia (23) and California (18) lead the 39 states this year, with the District of Columbia picking in the last seven rounds. Of those 257, at least one player is a draft pick. Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
