Buffalo Bills rookie Keon Coleman will wear a different number than he wore during his one season at FSU. Coleman wore No. 4 during his time with the Seminoles, but he will wear No. 0 when he begins his pro career in Buffalo. This could be a nod to his two years at Michigan State with the Spartans, wearing the same numbers, where he had a career-high 58 receptions for 758 yards and seven touchdowns in his second year.
Current Cleveland Browns running back Nyheim Hines was the last Buffalo Bill to wear this number. Players would not be allowed to wear No. 0 until team owners vote in March 2023.
Despite wearing the garnet and gold for just one season, Keon Coleman was thrust into the spotlight upon his arrival in Tallahassee, starting all 12 games he played at FSU. In 2023, Coleman had 50 receptions for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns, and also returned 25 punts for 300 yards.
Coleman's impact on the field led to him being selected by the Buffalo Bills with the first pick in the second round of the NFL Draft. Although he was the seventh receiver taken off the board, he is already the most All-ACC first-team selection since he will be catching passes from two-time Pro Bowl quarterback Josh Allen. He is one of the most anticipated quarterback/receiver duos.
