Jones joins the Bobcats after spending the past two seasons at the University of Dayton. She previously spent the first two seasons of her collegiate career at Ohio State University. At Dayton, Jones played in 59 games, started 43 and averaged 27.8 minutes per game. She totaled 541 points, 288 rebounds, 52 assists, and 55 steals in two seasons with the Flyers. During the 2023-24 season, Jones averaged 8.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 35% from the field and 70% from the line. As a junior, she played in all 28 games that season and was the only player to score 277 points, averaging 9.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
During his time at Ohio State, Jones played in 15 games, earned two Scholar-Athlete honors and earned Academic All-Conference honors for the 2021-22 season.
Before beginning his college career, Jones was a four-year honors student at Westerville South High School. She earned first team honors from 2018-2020 and was selected to the second team as a freshman.
Jones is the daughter of Bryant Jones and Marla Melendez-Jones and has two siblings, Layla and Xavier.
