Northern Utah's softball, baseball and boys volleyball teams, classified as 4A and 3A, know where they will end up in the state playoffs, as the UHSAA announced the brackets for those sports Wednesday morning.
Morgan High School Softball is the top seed among area teams in those three sports, but several programs missed the cut line and their seasons ended. Bracket seeds are determined by the RPI formula, which takes into account winning percentage and strength of schedule.
Below is a summary of each sport's playoffs in these two classifications and where Northern Utah teams landed.

4A playoffs
The 4A softball tournament will be contested by the top 24 of 26 teams. The top eight seeds will receive byes, and seeds 9-24 will be contested in a best-of-three first round.
Bear River (13-7) is the No. 7 seed and will host a best-of-three super regional series on May 9 and 10 against the winner of No. 10 Tuele and No. 23 Park City. .
Survivors from the Super Regional round will advance to double-elimination bracket play, with the first two days May 15th and 16th being held at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex to determine who advances to the Championship Series. The championship is a best-of-three series that will be held at BYU on May 17th and 18th.
3A playoffs
All 19 teams will participate in the 3A softball bracket, with seeds 14-19 competing for play-in games. The remaining 16 teams then play in a true double-elimination format. The top four seeds will play play-ins and first round games on Saturday, May 4th. After opening day, this bracket will conclude at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex from May 9th to 11th. The one-loss bracket finals will take place on Saturday, May 11th at 10 a.m., followed immediately by the championship and requisite matches.
No. 4 Morgan (16-8) will host No. 13 Litchfield on Saturday, May 4 at 12:30 p.m. on pod host. No. 5 Carbon and No. 12 Manti will also play at Morgan, with the losers of the two games facing each other. That night, they will compete in an elimination game.
Ogden and Ben Lomond each find themselves in a play-in game.
No. 14 Ogden (4-14) will play No. 19 Summit Academy on Saturday morning at South Summit, with the winner advancing to play No. 3 South Summit.
No. 17 Ben Lomond (3-13) will play No. 16 American Leadership Academy at Emery, with the winner advancing to play No. 1 Emery.

4A playoffs
Baseball's 4A bracket is the same as softball's 4A, with seeds 9-24 competing in the first round series and the top eight receiving byes to the super regional round.
Bear River (19-6) earned it as the No. 5 seed and will host the winner of No. 12 Mountain Crest and No. 21 Tuele in a best-of-three series May 9-10.
The game will then move to Salt Lake Community College for double-elimination bracket play May 13-16. The remaining two games will be played in the best-of-three championship series at SLCC on May 17-18.
3A playoffs
The top 16 of the 18 3A baseball teams will advance to the playoff bracket, which will feature eight best-of-three series and a double-elimination bracket for the winners.
Ben Lomond finished in 18th place with 1 win and 12 losses, missing out on the playoffs.
No. 5 Morgan (17-7) will host a home series against No. 12 Summit Academy on Thursday and Friday, May 2 and 3. No. 10 Ogden (9-12) moves to No. 7 Union.
The remaining eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket May 6-9 at Kearns High School. The final two teams will compete in a best-of-three championship series at Kearns HS on May 10-11.

4A playoffs
The first men's volleyball playoffs will begin in Utah in 4A, with the top 24 of 26 teams competing in a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage match determining third through eighth place.
Bear River missed the playoffs as the 26th-place team with an 0-12 record.
On Saturday, May 4th, seeds 9 through 24 will play their first round matches at home. The top eight teams will be eliminated in the second round. The second round and subsequent rounds will be played May 10th and 11th at Utah Valley University, with the champion scheduled to be crowned on Saturday, May 11th at 7 p.m.
No. 6 Layton Christian (18-5) will face the winner of No. 11 Park City and No. 22 Stansbury on Friday, May 10 at 5:30 p.m.
3A playoffs
All 15 teams in the classification will advance to the bracket, which will be a single-elimination format with a repechage match to be held at Utah Valley University on May 10th and 11th. No. 1 Grantsville lost in the first round with a bye.
No. 5 Ogden (12-11) will face No. 12 Ben Lomond (3-15) on Friday, May 10 at 9 a.m.
No. 6 Morgan (11-8) will play No. 11 Judge Memorial at 10:30 a.m. that day.
The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th at 4:30 p.m.
