Colorado Springs, Colorado (April 3, 2024) – 20 talented players from across the United States have been selected to the 2024 U.S. Women's Under-21 National Team roster.
The team will train in Anaheim, California from June 14th to 22nd. Meanwhile, 12 of the 20 players will be selected to represent the United States at the 2024 Women's U21 Norseca Continental Championship, to be held June 23-July 1 in Toronto, Canada.
In 2023, 13 athletes trained or competed on the U.S. age group national team.
Includes members of the U.S. U19 national team. lizzy andrew, Support Anyanwu, Jaela Auguste, Blair Bayless, Julia Buryashov, brooklyn delay, campbell flynn, taylor harvey olivia mauf, Abigail Mullen, Logan Parks, Teraya Sigler and abby vander wal.
Of this group, Andrew, Auguste, Bayless, Bryashov, Parks, Sigler and Vander Wal competed on the team that won the 2023 Pan American Cup in Puerto Rico.
Anyanwu, Auguste, Flynn, Mauch, Mullen, Sigler and Vander Wal competed on the gold medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships in Croatia.
With the NCAA season preventing many U21 players from competing in the 2023 Women's U21 World Championship in Mexico, Andrew, Flynn, Harvey, Mullen and Vander Wal stepped up to the challenge and finished in 6th place. Became part of the team.
kennedy martin was part of the 2023 Women's U21 team's training for the Pan American Cup in Mexico, where the team won the gold medal.
Other players on the team with previous generation varsity experience include: Rainy Choboy, andy jackson and bargain riley.
taylor anderson, ramsey gary and camryn guibadro They are new to the U.S. age group national team.
Heather Olmsteadhead coach of the BYU women's volleyball team, will be the women's U21 head coach with the following assistants: Jaylen Reyes (Nebraska) and alex dunphy (Stanford).
