Great Lakes Christian University Director of Athletics Sam Cybilski has named Katie Shannon as the next women's basketball head coach.

She has risen to the top as an assistant coach leading the GLCC women's basketball program to the most successful season in program history, and she has a unique ability to move our program forward. Her dynamic personality and very high level basketball intelligence allow her to make an immediate impact. Shannon's first season as an assistant coach at GLCC was record-breaking, including a program record of 16 wins and 12 losses, his first regional championship, his first national championship, and his first regional player of the year award.
