High school girls soccer recap: Hornets' big CCC week

The Salisbury girls soccer team will play twice this week as the Hornets look to maintain second place in the Central Carolina Conference and improve their RPI rankings heading into the state playoffs.
The Hornets (8-3-1, 6-2) are currently No. 14 in the 2A West RPI rankings. They play at South Davidson on Monday and host East Davidson on Wednesday.
North Rowan (0-15, 0-8) has four games remaining, two home games and two road games, and is still looking for its first win.
