Florida State ended a nine-year drought by winning the ACC Championship in 2023. Although this feat was overshadowed by the end of the season, it was still a remarkable feat for Mike Norvell and one that will hopefully bode well for Tallahassee's bright future.
The Seminoles went 8-0 in conference play, including a 31-24 overtime victory over Clemson in Death Valley. Florida State started its third-string quarterback, true freshman Brock Glenn, in the ACC Championship game against Louisville while Jordan Travis and Tate Rodemaker endured injuries. In the end, the defense stepped up in a 16-6 victory, holding the Cardinals to season lows in points, total yards, and yards per play.

On Friday, FSU unveiled personalized rings to celebrate the championship. The top of the ring features the program's iconic logo and the words “2023 ACC Champions” along with 16 garnet stones representing all 16 of the Seminoles' conference titles.
One side of the gem is a reminder of Florida State's “Unconquered” motto and the 13-0 record the program achieved. The other side is personalized to each player, coach, and staff member who was on the team last season. Their names and titles are listed on the rings, along with a gold Seminole helmet.
The bottom of the ring is emblazoned with the words “Nole Family”. Check out the full story below.
