Over five seasons in Chapel Hill, Armando Bacot left his name in the UNC basketball record books as a physical and stubborn force in the paint night in and night out. His time as a Tar Heel is over, but it appears head coach Hubert Davis is already looking for his replacement.

On Thursday, On3's Joe Tipton reported that former Arizona big man Omar Barro said he would be heading to Chapel Hill to visit Davis and the Tar Heels.
Burro, a 7-foot, 260-pound center, entered his name in the transfer portal on Monday after playing the last three seasons at Arizona. He is currently ranked as the No. 1 player in 247Sports' transfer portal rankings.
After starting his career at Gonzaga, Barro followed Tommy Lloyd to Tucson when he took the job at Arizona. Primarily used as a reserve his first two seasons, Baro became a full-time starter in both his junior and senior seasons.
The 21-year-old started all 71 games he played in his final two seasons with the Wildcats. This past year, he averaged a double-double, averaging 12.9 points and 10.1 rebounds in just 25.9 minutes per game.
Tipton also reported that Barro has already scheduled visits to Indiana, Louisville and Kansas over the next 10 days. However, he is scheduled to visit both the UNC basketball program and Florida in the next week.
If Davis and the Tar Heels were to acquire Baro's services, the Mali native would almost certainly slide into the starting center position and try to replicate Bacot's old role at UNC.
