Penn State head coach James Franklin talks about team's progress at end of camp
Franklin has consistently sent a message that spring training is about establishing the team's baseline, especially new schemes on offense and defense. However, the Blue-White match is a chance to see the team at its full competitive potential. Franklin wants to lean into that.
“I'm just trying to break it up and make it as competitive as possible. How do you rotate the tackles? If you have four guys that you think are starters, those guys break up. So we have players on both sides of the ball that can play in a Big Ten game.”
