The Eastern Illinois women's soccer team announced the addition of two players to its 2024 freshman class.
Isabella Hubble and Amelia Mundo will join the Panthers this fall after playing their first years at Missouri Tech.
Hubble (5'6″) is a midfielder from Mascouta, Illinois. She played at St. Louis Scott Gallagher and Mascouta High School. Hubble came to EIU after playing her freshman year at Missouri Tech University. Prior to joining the Miners, she earned IHSSCA All-Section and was a two-time regional champion at the high school level. At the club level, she was named to the 2021-2022 ECNL All-Regional League Heartland Team and Second Team All-Conference MVC. .

Mundo (5'4″) is a midfielder from Northbrook, Illinois. She played at the club level for Glenbrook North High School, FC United, and Eclipse Select Soccer. She was all-conference, all-section, and MVP award in high school. Before joining the Panthers, Mundo also spent his freshman season at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. While playing for the Minors, Mundo appeared in six games and recorded one goal and one assist over the season. GLVC In 1 year, he was named Top Rookie and Minor Cup Winner.
Bennett commented on Mundo's strong offensive skills: “Amelia had a great first year at her previous school and had already proven her ability to score and score goals at the collegiate level.
