Colorado State football coach Deion Sanders has been outspoken about fostering a culture that prepares players for life after their playing days.
Unsurprisingly, the former Jackson State University coach lashed out at the Buffaloes at a recent team meeting after a professor at the school emailed Sanders about being disrespectful in class.
“You're on the field, but you're not doing nothing,” Sanders said in a YouTube video posted Friday by Welloff Media. “I'm in a relationship, but I don't have love. I'm at the mall, but I don't have money. I have ability, but I don't have talent.”

Sanders made the allegations after a professor said there were players in class who were “participating in class but not actually participating in the class” because they were distracting other students. Was.
Well Off Media, a YouTube channel with over 445,000 subscribers, is run by Sanders' son Deion Sanders Jr., but unlike his brothers Shedur Sanders and Shiloh Sanders, Mr. Sanders Jr. is not on the list.
Sanders just completed his second season as a Power Five coach. Last season, Sanders and the Buffaloes got off to a strong start with an opening-round win at TCU and finished the season with a 4-8 record.
Sanders then ended the team meeting by giving the players a reality check.
“We're going to get something out of this,” Sanders said. “Either you become a man or you become a great football player. Since you chose not to become a great football player, we must make you a man.”
