CLEMSON — Fans will get their first look at the 2024 version of the Clemson football team on Saturday in coach Dabo Swinney's 17th.th The teams will play their annual Orange vs. White spring game at Memorial Stadium.
Approximately 50,000 people are expected to attend.
The Tigers are finishing the season with a 9-4 record, the first time they have won less than 10 games since 2010. However, Clemson finished the season on a strong note with five straight wins, including a 38-35 victory over Kentucky in the Gator Bowl.
Clemson returned eight of the 11 offensive starters for that game, including quarterback Cade Klubnik and leading rusher Phil Mafa. Aside from nickelback Khalil Barnes, the Tigers have only three returning starters on the defensive end: linebackers Barrett Carter and Wade Udaz, and safety RJ Mickens.

Clemson will open its 2024 season on Aug. 31 against Georgia at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Group of experienced players will miss spring games
A Clemson school spokesperson said on X (formerly Twitter) that RJ Mickens, Barrett Carter, Jake Bringstool and Phil Mafa will miss Saturday's spring game and will serve as student coaches.
