comment: A good news/bad news start for Southwest, which remains in first place after wins over Marian and Lincoln East in six days. The Silver Hawks lost season leading scorer Kennadi Williams to a knee injury against Marian. Junior Kiana Perez and senior Charlie Cote have each scored three goals in Southwest's two games since Williams' injury. The Silver Hawks will test Pius, newly ranked Kearney and three-time defending champion Gretna over a 10-day period later this month. This week's Metro Conference tournament features five of the top seven teams in Class A, as well as newly placed first place Class B Gretna East.

3. Omaha Duchesne, 5-1, 7
9. Omaha Roncalli, 3-2, NR
10. Columbus Scotus, 2-2, 6
comment: Gretna East, a first-year program, defeated its first four opponents by a combined score of 31-0 to move into first place. The Gryphons' biggest regular season test, the Metro Tournament, begins Wednesday with a Tuesday night meeting with Millard West. Norris and Duchesne — whose only drawbacks were narrow losses to Class A opponents — also moved up in the standings. A tough battle continues for last time's No. 1 Omaha Skutto. The Skyhawks will play Omaha Mercy on Tuesday and a pair of Iowa State Class A teams over the weekend, before taking on Millard West and Bennington in mid-April. Blair has soared up the rankings, joining Gretna East as the only remaining undefeated teams in Class B. The Bears outscored opponents 35 to 5 on him, and he had three or more in all but one game.
