Alema Iosua, a three-star offensive lineman in the class of 2025, committed to Arizona State football after participating in ASU's open practice on Saturday.
The 6-foot-7, 292-pound Iosua is ranked among the top 10 prospects in his class and top 100 offensive tackles in the state of Nevada, according to 247Sports.
Iosua crossed the Pacific Ocean from Hawaii to play at national power Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. He committed to ASU specifically regarding Washington and Arizona.
As ASU senior assistant player personnel Nick Sooto pointed out, Iosua is the latest addition to what has become known as the “Poly Pipeline.”

“My meeting with coach Kenny Dillingham on Friday was also great. Man, he's the youngest head coach in college football right now,” Iosua told 247Sports. “I love his excitement and he really knows how to coach and his energy during practice is contagious. I'm really excited to join and be a part of this program.”
During the first week of spring practice for this year's Sun Devil football team, Coach Dillingham highlighted improved size and depth in the trenches, and Iosua is equipped to help in that area even more.
Arizona State currently has the seventh-best 2024 recruiting class in the Big 12. With Isosua, quarterback Michael Tollefson, and a few others, the Sun Devils are poised to get off to a good start in 2025.
