ELON, N.C. – The Elon University Athletics Department, in conjunction with the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), has announced the kicking times for 10 of 12 football games during the 2024 season.
Season tickets for Elon's six-game home campaign are on sale starting at $65. Elon football opens the season against Duke on Friday, August 30th and will play against North Carolina Central on September 7th. Times for both games have not yet been announced.
Elon's home opener will be against Western Carolina on September 14th with a 6pm kick time. Elon's annual “Night of the Phoenix” is held the night before the Western Carolina game.
One week later, on Sept. 21, ETSU will once again visit Rose Stadium for a 6 p.m. kick time. Phoenix will then play Richmond on September 28th and New Hampshire on October 12th (every other week). Game starts at 2 p.m. Richmond game serves as Elon's annual Family Weekend.
Elon is scheduled to travel to Albany for a 3:30 p.m. start on Oct. 19, then play at Hampton on Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. The team will return home to host Campbell on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. for Homecoming.
On Nov. 9, Elon will play at William & Mary at 1 p.m., and will open up Senior Day with Main Day on Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. Phoenix concludes the season at North Carolina A&T on Nov. 23 at 1 p.m.
Elon fans will have an opportunity to get an early preview of the 2024 team as Phoenix hosts its spring scrimmage on April 13th at 11:15 a.m. Fans are encouraged to attend this free scrimmage, which is open to the public.
In 2024, Elon returns 15 starters from a team that fell one game short of winning the first CAA Football Conference title in program history.Anticipated benefits include safety across the U.S. caleb curtain and three players who won the All-American Freshman Award. Elon has won 10 of its last 11 home games and is the only program in CAA football to finish above .500 in league play over the past three seasons.
