Anthony has endured a difficult few seasons since joining for a big fee from Dutch side Ajax, but has received friendly support from one of his team-mates at Old Trafford.
Anthony praised Diogo Dalot for helping him get through a difficult period at Manchester United.
The Brazilian winger has endured a difficult few seasons since joining Old Trafford for £86m from Ajax. He scored only 8 goals during his debut season.
Since then, things have gotten even worse for Anthony. He fell down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag, scoring just two goals this season.
It is also said that the Red Devils are looking to cut their losses on the 24-year-old. However, Anthony still has support in the dressing room, choosing Portuguese defender Dalot as support from his time at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian told United's official website: “I'm very grateful to God and to a friend I talk to often. Diogo Dalot is more than a friend to me, he's someone who helps me every day at the club.
“There's a saying we always say to each other: 'A patient man is invincible.' We talk about it all the time. So I'm very grateful for his advice that we discussed together. . He's the one who helped me a lot.”
Dalot has spoken about his friendship with Anthony in the past. Describing the handshake they exchanged after the Brazilian set up a defender's goal against Nottingham Forest last season, he added: “That's about us. I'm happy to have a good relationship with him, he's a great kid. Yes, I am,'' he said. I want to be by his side. ”

Anthony found the back of the net in their most recent game, a dramatic 4-3 win against Liverpool in the FA Cup. Erik ten Hag claimed that after that performance, he had approached the first player to sign.
The Dutch player said: he had a very hard time. The first part, he's not himself, he's responsible for that. And he lost his confidence and now he has to fight back. If you look at the last two weeks, he'll be back.
“When I watch training, I see Anthony, who I worked with at Ajax, and who I worked with in the first weeks here. He has to fight back. No, and I'm sure he will, because you've seen that goal.
“But it's not just about goals. When he takes the left-back position, he defends very well. In certain systems, he can play from that side. He's a defensive player. Not, don't get me wrong, but as we've seen, he can score goals.”
