Now that the West Central Valley boys' team has its first scrimmage of the soccer season, coach John Voss is reflecting on the West Central Valley Wildcat boys' soccer team's goals. Coach Boss believes that working on the fundamentals and soccer skills during practice will help the team improve, but that team chemistry and camaraderie are just as important as the fundamentals. Coach Boss said, “I think as a team, even if we don't, we can make a solid run to the postseason and actually qualify for state. If we had to put something out there, , I think that's kind of the big goal. But the important thing is that we're trying to get the team chemistry to a good place right away. That's the challenge we've had over the years. It helps me get through tough times.”
Coach Voss and the Wildcat players have time to review their goals as they wait until Friday, March 29, when they play Panorama at home.
