A high school volleyball coach was arrested Thursday and charged with raping a 15-year-old girl, Nassau police said.
Jason Mather, 22, sexually assaulted the girl twice while working as a girls volleyball coach at Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead and B&B Volleyball in Albertsons, according to a news release from the Nassau Police Department. added.

Special Victims Unit personnel arrested Maser at his home. According to police, the rapes occurred on February 7th and March 7th.
Sacred Heart Academy is a Catholic girls' high school for students in grades 9 through 12.
Founded in 2008, B&B Volleyball offers an organized volleyball club as well as indoor and beach summer programs, according to its website.
Maser is charged with two counts of third-degree rape, two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and endangering the welfare of a child.
Mr. Mather is scheduled to be arraigned today in First District Court in Hempstead.
