In an extensive study of over 65,000 soccer games, SIS found that 167 games (0.26%) showed signs of possible manipulation. This represents an increase of 16% compared to the number identified in 2022 (144), although SIS analyzed more matches in 2023. This means the percentage of doubtful matches decreased from his 0.39% in 2022 to his 0.26% in 2023.
