Just one week into the boys soccer season, 757Teamz's weekly poll has already crowned a new No. 1 team.
After starting the season with wins over Warwick and then-No. 1 No. 9 No. 9 Kekautan, Jamestown lost to then-No. 9 in a 1-0 decision last week. 8 Great Bridge. As a result, Princess Anne rose to first place.
Great Bridge coach Scott Wright and the Wildcats are off to a 3-0 start and finished in the top three in this week's poll thanks to wins over Jamestown and then-No. 1 Jamestown. 9 Kekotan.
Kekautan started the year with an 0-2-1 record and almost fell down the rankings, but has slipped to 15th place in this week's poll. Grassfield fell out of the rankings completely after starting 0-2 with losses to Cox and Ocean Lakes.
Other wins and ties on the field resulted in slight movement elsewhere in the poll, with Salem entering the poll this week at No. 13 after starting the season 2-0.
