Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is likely to select a fully equipped squad for the match against Manchester City later this month.
The Gunners defeated FC Porto on penalties last week to book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals. Arsenal, who were knocked out of the FA Cup this season, have no games this weekend and the players will have an extra week to get to full fitness during the international break.
The next game against City will take place on March 31st at the Etihad Stadium (4.30pm), with just one point separating the two teams, potentially making it a title decider. Martinelli did not feature in either the games against Brentford or Porto. What caught his attention was football.london After the Brentford game, he walked in the mixed zone on crutches before being sidelined for the Champions League.
His setback is not thought to be too serious and the Brazilian forward has apparently trained in some areas.
