Woodland took the lead in the game, but Dalton's Angel Salais responded and the game was tied at 1-1 at the end of the first half.
Romeo Chavarria scored the go-ahead goal in the second half, and Dalton held on for the win.
Dalton is back in the win column in regional play after losing the last regional match to Cass.
The Catamounts play at Pebblebrook on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Coahula Creek 6, Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe 1
In Thursday's Region 6-3A game, Coahula Creek (7-4-1) defeated Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (2-5) 6-1.
Miguel Arredondo scored three goals and had one assist for Coafura Creek. Alex Rodriguez scored two goals and Omar Mendiola one. Assisted by Kai Furner.

Christian Heritage (4-4) defeated Ridgeland (6-7) 2-0 on Thursday night.
Jose Ojeda and Carson Russell each scored a goal. Ojeda assisted on Russell's goal, and Russell also assisted Ojeda.
The Lions, who started the season with a 1-4 record, are currently on a three-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Christian Heritage (2-5) lost 8-1 to Ridgeland (3-9).
Ridgeland led 2-0 at halftime and pushed the lead to 4-0 until the Lady Lions scored off the foot of Andy Bolger. Ridgeland finished the game scoring four more points.
