Chase Bullock and Jack Callary assisted on both of McQuaid's goals in the overtime loss. Liam Palmer got the Knights on the board less than three minutes into the contest. Palmer fired home the rebound, which bounced off the left side of his face outside the circle. Orchard Park tied it 20 seconds into the second period on a power play by Brady Ciano. Danny Wehr took advantage of his Quaker turnover and McQuaid regained the lead. With 1:21 left in regulation time and the Quakers' net empty, Ciano scored a tip-in goal to tie the game at Orchard Park. Ciano completed Orchard Park's hat trick with the winning goal in overtime, sending the Quakers to the Division I New York State championship game.

For Batavia Notre Dame, Ivan Milovidov scored both goals in the loss to Skaneateles. Milobidov put United ahead early in the first period with a high shot that beat the Lakers' goaltender. Skaneatores scored five unanswered goals. Braden Taggart tied it with 53 seconds left in the first period. Luke Mizro gave the Lakers the lead at the midway point of the second period. Just under two minutes later, Andrew Gaglione further extended Skaneateles' lead. Jack Tolley scored a power play goal, increasing the Lakers' total to three points. Cole Palmer scored Skaneateles' fourth goal of the second period, leading 5-1 going into the second intermission. Milobidov stopped the bleeding with a soft beat on the Skaneateles goalie in the fifth hole to stop the bleeding. Casey Morrissey and Sean Kerwick both scored shorthanded, ending the Lakers' chance to defend the Division II New York State Championship.
