For the Glory KC is back with episode 75 of the show!
Sporting Kansas City remains undefeated, but three straight draws are not what most expected to start the season. But hey, at least they didn't lose!
Sheena and I analyze the game and work on all kinds of details. He will start with a new starting lineup since Remi Walter was sidelined with an ankle injury suffered against the Philadelphia Union. He was replaced by Memo Rodriguez. Up And down game.
In fact, the whole team had a Jekyll and Hyde vibe. Almost every player on the team had at least one or two good moments, but he also had one or two plays that could have had disastrous consequences. In some cases, there were a lot of good moments from one player (like Andrew Fontas or Tim Melia), but even that player had some really bad plays. Of course, we have to deal with that weird indirect free kick.
Melia said that when Fontas played the ball on the play that led to the indirect free kick, the referee signaled that the ball was moving, so Fontas was picking it up to get it back.
The broadcast only shows Jake holding the ball, not Fontas' kick. #SportingKC #LAFCvSKC

We talk about the best and worst players, and almost everyone gets a comment or two in each direction. The conversation also turned to Danny Rosselló, who has been underperforming in Cena's eyes. Most of his teammates think he will lead the team as a scoring defender, so it's understandable that she wants him to be more dangerous on set pieces.

After discussing LAFC vs. Sporting KC, we now move on to news regarding former SKC academy player Ramiz Hammouda. KC star Daniel Sperry posted a great Twitter thread that sheds light on the whole situation. We thought about it and brought the conversation back to the SKC/LAFC game a little bit.
for #SportingKC For those of you curious about the Ramiz Hammouda situation, here are some tips:
According to club officials, #SportingKC Hamda's camp differed on whether the player was ready to sign with HG. There was a more immediate timeline on the player side. (1/?)

And you can't ignore KC Current and the start of the season this weekend. They added two more signings, acquiring draft picks Ellie Wheeler and Hope Hisay, and brought back goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz from Brisbane Roar. Additionally, expectations for the first home game will be high both on and off the field.
