The last undefeated team, MPSF top-ranked Grand Canyon, lost to No. 5 UC Irvine in the Big West.
Hawaii, ranked No. 3 in the Big West, then defeated visiting No. 14 Lewis of MIVA, setting up Friday's showdown between the two teams with one loss for first place and third place. Previously, UCI and Lewis met at the Stan Sherif Center.
No. 2 Long Beach State will open Big West play with a visit to the Pyramid by No. 19 UC Santa Barbara.
UCLA, ranked No. 4 in the MPSF, will play Penn State, ranked No. 9 in the EIVA.
Ohio State is No. 8 in MIVA and USC is No. 12 in MPSF.
BYU, ranked No. 6, will face No. 7 Stanford for a big matchup in the MPSF.
MPSF No. 10 Pepperdine continues its Conference Carolian swing as the Waves head to Tygerville, South Carolina to play North Greenville. MPSF's Concordia Irvine is also home to St. Xavier of Illinois. SXU is overcoming losses at Vanguard and Masters with a trip to California.
MIVA has two other non-conference games scheduled, with No. 20 McKendree facing Conference Carolina's Erskine and Quincy facing independent Maryville.
There are two EIVA games as NJIT heads to No. 17 George Mason and Harvard University to Merrimack, NEC, 45 miles north of Massachusetts. Also in the NEC, LIU hosts Burton of the Conference Carolinas, and Damen is home to independent Tusculum.
Lees-McRae of the Conference Carolinas will face Campbellsville, and Emmanual of the Conference Carolinas will face Talladega.
