After a perfect February, Daniel Farke has been named Championship Manager of the Month.
Leeds United have collected a maximum of 15 points from five games, with their only conceded being a goal in a come-from-behind victory over league leaders Leicester City.
This confirmed a strong start to the calendar year to put them on a roll in the race for an immediate return to the Premier League.
“Once again, throughout February we got off to a really good start to 2024. I have nothing but praise for the players and staff,” said Falke.
“Winning nine games in a row from January to February in the Championship was a true collective effort and required great dedication from everyone.
“Obviously our aim is to continue in the same way from now until the end of the season and we want to win as many games as possible.”
Ipswich Town winger Omari Hutchinson, on loan from Chelsea, was named Player of the Month for his three stoppage-time goals.
“I'm very happy. It's my first award in men's soccer so I'm grateful,” he said.
“There are many players who could have won, and there are top-class talents, but I was happy to be selected.
“Everyone has helped me along my journey. This was my first season in men's soccer so I didn't know what to expect. This season has been successful so far, I think I'll be able to play in front of the Ipswich fans this week.'' Being away for a week is a dream come true. ”
