The sophomore made four Team USA appearances during her two years with the Nittany Lions, was on three USA Hockey Rvialry Series rosters, and earned a gold medal as a member of the 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship team. obtained.
Appearing on the evaluation camp roster for the second year in a row as a Nittany Lion, Janecke was named First Team All-CHA, CHA Player, Forward of the Year, and was the regular league leading scorer with one goal. Finished the season. He had a career-high 16 goals and 36 assists for 52 points. In her conference play alone, she totaled 35 points with 12 goals and a league-leading 23 assists. Janecke was named CHA Player of the Week four times and CHA Player of the Month three times. She had two hat tricks this season, against Lindenwood and Dartmouth.
The Orangeville, Illinois, native also led the nation in faceoff wins during the regular season, totaling 558 wins.
That year, Janecke tied for eighth in the nation in total points with 53, while leading the nation in faceoff wins with 607 and tied for fourth in assists with 36.
