women's basketball
North Branford girls basketball was the No. 4 seed in the Shoreline Conference Tournament. The team faced No. 5 Coginshaug in the first round on February 17th and won 54-41.
In the semifinals on February 20, the Thunderbirds faced top-seeded Easthampton, losing 61-50.
North Branford entered the Class S state tournament as a No. 15 seed. In the first round on February 27, the team faced 18th-ranked Windsor Locks and won 74-47.
In the second round on February 29, the team faced No. 2 Thomaston and lost 61-45.
men's ice hockey
The North Branford boys ice hockey team hosted Daniel Hand on February 26th and won 2-1. Michael Matteo scored the Thunderbirds' first goal, with an assist from CJ Sherwood. Jack Maley also added a goal with an assist from Colin Auger.

On the strength of its overall performance at the individual Connecticut State Championships (held March 2 at the JCC in Woodbridge), the North Branford-Amity men's epee team will advance to the state championships on Saturday, March 9. They qualified for the Connecticut High School Team Championship. The boys team enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 seed (conference champion) Cheshire High School to advance to the quarterfinals.
The NB-A boys team featured bronze medalists Atum Colon (NB '26), Santino Carbone (NB'26), Caleb Baxter (NB '26), Ben See (Amity '27), and alternate Lucas DeAntonio (NB '24). ). Xi is recovering from a wrist injury and may not be able to participate in the match.
The North Branford Amity women's team consists of Jaden Rivera (NB'26), Edmira Marasi (NB'27), Emily Gu (Amity'24), and Gwen Leonard (NB'26). Despite the break, he was unable to qualify.
