Patiluk & Henry Community College announced this weekend the hiring of Megan Condon as the school's head volleyball coach.
Condon joins P&HCC after serving as head coach at South Stokes High School in Germantown, North Carolina, a position he held since February 2020. A native of Cherry Creek, New York, Condon moved to North Carolina at the age of 7 and later played volleyball at North Stokes. He attended high school and Montreat University.
As a player at North Stokes, Condon set school records for most aces in a season (86) and most assists per set.
No stranger to NJCAA Region 10 action, Condon also spent the 2019 season as an assistant coach at Surry Community College in Dobson, North Carolina. During her time at Surrey, she also assisted in position-based player training, maintaining player statistics, and running team practices.
“I am elated to accept this position at Patrick & Henry and take the helm of the volleyball program,” Condon said in a release from the school. “Becoming a college head coach is something I have strived to accomplish since I stepped on the court as a player and since I became a coach.”
