Welcome, gentle reader, to the March 1, 2024 SwitchArcade roundup. In today's article, we'll take a look at the rest of this week's releases. There's some really tasty food today, but the trash can horde certainly won't go home hungry. We also have a regular list of new sales and expired discounts. That's enough. Yesterday was so much fun, so I'm glad it's a little quieter today. Anyway, on with the show.
new release
Euphoria 2: The Saga ($24.99)
Euphoria is one of the cult classics of the NES library, and gained some notoriety for being one of the few top-tier Japanese titles on the console to be released in Europe rather than North America. This follow-up features gorgeous improvements to the game while remaining relatively faithful to the original's gameplay. One of the big differences here is that each area you enter is a little different. I don't know if I would call this a good thing. It has one foot in the remake category and one foot in the sequel category, but generally speaking I've enjoyed what I've played. I'll give you a review early next week.
Cricket Through the Ages ($7.99)
We all love a bit of physics-based nonsense here and there, and this is today's suggestion. A comically and shockingly accurate depiction of cricket history, this one-button game for one or two players lets you experience nine action modes. I mean, look at the screenshot above. It looks like it came out of a textbook. Our friend Mikhail has tried this out and will share his thoughts with you soon.
One More Dungeon 2 ($14.99)
It's a flashy follow-up to the original game, and one that plays in a very familiar way. This is a first-person roguelite action game where you have to explore dungeons and try to escape safely. There are various attack options and he has five different regions to explore. A big, mean boss? Oh, yes, there are some. If you liked the first game, this is an easy recommendation. If you are attending for the first time, you may want to start here.
Kashido ($13.00)
This is a game based on a real board game where you place sweets on the board in a special way. Enjoy local multiplayer for up to 4 people. This game is quite deep, but if you want to learn it and can find people around you who can do the same, you'll be fine. There's nothing more to say here. If you're looking for a unique board game experience on Switch, this is it.
Full of nonsense ($13.00)
The Japanese title of this work is “Poop curry”. I feel like we've reached the peak of the game here, guys. Anyway, this is a card game that can be played by up to 4 people. The goal is to eat curry without eating poop. 3 curries Eat one poop and you win, eat one poop and you lose. There's a bit of bluffing involved, so deceiving other players is part of the fun. This is actually a real physical card game in Japan. , which has a pretty good reputation. Multiplayer is local only, so keep that in mind.
Virus Rush ($7.99)
A fairly simple bullet hell boss rush game. We are fighting the virus inside a small arena. There are over 15 of them and they look pretty weird. You too are a virus and can customize your abilities to suit your play style. Doesn't seem like such a fancy meal to me, but who knows? It might be fun.

I'm hoping to get some regular cards for a change next week, but we'll have to see what cards are dealt. I hope everyone has a great weekend. As always, thanks for reading!
