Chilipal Foundation on Sunday announced the launch of the six-team Cricket Premier League 2024 to promote local cricket talent in Gujarat. According to an official release, the inaugural tournament will be held from May 19 to June 2 at SGVP Ground, Ahmedabad.
The teams comprising elite Ranji players from Gujarat – Heritage City Titans, Narmada Navigators, Sabarmati Strikers, Ahmedabad Arrows, Karnavati Kings and Gandhinagar Lions – are owned by various private entities.

Heritage City Titan is owned by Crest Data Systems, while Narmada Navigators are owned by Shanti Spintex and Sabarmati Strikers are owned by Hiramani. The release states that Trivedi Marbles Private Limited, Spaces and Landmark are the owners of Ahmedabad Arrows, Karnavati Kings and Gandhinagar Lions respectively.
