FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. โ Another five-star high school prospect will follow John Calipari to the University of Arkansas basketball team.
Jonuel Boogie Frand announced his commitment to the Razorbacks on Thursday. He previously signed Calipari with Kentucky, but Frand requested that his national letter of intent be released after Calipari moved to Arkansas.

Frand is the No. 18 player and No. 2 combo guard in the country, according to the 247sports Composite. Major programs such as North Carolina, Michigan and Alabama were vying for Frand's spot before he committed to Kentucky on Oct. 20.
Frand was a McDonald's All-American and averaged 19.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists as a senior at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York.
The 6-foot-2 guard is widely regarded as one of the best shooters in the 2024 class. He needs to improve his efficiency but has shown a natural ability to take difficult shots.
Frand is Arkansas' second high school commitment in 2024, following Calipari and joining Carter Knox to Fayetteville. Arkansas also added Zvonimir Ivicic, who transferred to Kentucky through the portal, giving the Hogs three scholarship players currently on the roster.
Calipari was officially announced as the Arkansas basketball coach on April 10, one week after Eric Musselman departed for Southern California. He arrived in Fayetteville with zero scholarship players on his roster.
