There were many fast swims throughout the 2.5 day race and we saw new Japanese record and word ranking times swam. Tonight's session is a short one with just three events: 200 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 400 IM, and 100 tap fly, but given the past two days, you can definitely expect faster swims.

The top three swimmers were all added from the qualifying swims, but it was still a great race in the middle of the pool. Kieran Smith, Jorge Iga, and thomas koski.
Koski, who qualified first, took the lead at the first corner (24.87 seconds). However, Iga didn't let him get too far forward.
