ANNAPOLIS, MD โ The Colombian men's swimming and diving team took second place at the 2024 ECAC Championships, which concluded Sunday afternoon. The Lions finished with 465.5 points, while Navy ranked first with 894 points.
Columbia started rolling in the 100 fly, with four Lions teams finishing in the top eight. Andrew Forty He won the bronze medal with a time of 47.49 seconds. Kevin Oboch I was right behind him with a time of 48.92 seconds.
The Lions' first silver medal of the weekend came in the 800 free relay. Ivan Paligorov, Matthew Eng, Padraig Troyand Seth Roach He touched the wall at 6 minutes 44.36 seconds.
Roach also won bronze in the 200 fly with a time of 1:47.19.
Colombia's highest finish at the tournament was in the 400 free relay, with Oboch, Paligorov, and michael chanFoti set the tournament's best time of 3:00.08 and won the gold medal.
